ak.Aleksandra Kubicka/ FRACTIONAL COO

Fractional COO
& projects

What it is

C-level operational leadership - part-time as an ongoing role, or scoped as a defined project.

Who it's for

Companies that need senior leadership, but not a full-time hire.

Engagement

One or two days a week ongoing, or a fixed scope with an end state. We agree which on a call.

Location

On-site in Tricity & Wroclaw, or remote.

How I work

Call. Diagnose. Deliver.

01

Intro call

We start with a short intro call. You tell me the situation, I tell you honestly whether I'm the right person for it and what an engagement could look like. Twenty minutes to decide if we want to work together - the answers come from the work, not from the call.

02

Look inside

Once we're in, I look inside: how decisions get made, where work gets stuck, what the numbers say. You get an honest diagnosis - including the parts you may not want to hear - and a plan: what to change, in what order, and what it should produce.

03

Make it happen

Then I make it happen. With your leaders and inside your teams, until it works without me. I'm not there to leave a report.

What this can cover

Common starting points.

Examples, not a menu - the real scope is whatever your situation needs, and we agree it on a call.

  • Translating strategy into goals and projects that get delivered
  • Operational efficiency: an outside audit of how work actually flows - bottlenecks, redundant processes, tools nobody needs - free of internal politics and "the way we've always done it"
  • Organisational structure and ownership
  • Operational cadence: planning, reviews, decision flow
  • Budgeting, cost reviews and reforecasts - finding the money you're leaking
  • KPI and metrics design: what to measure, what to ignore, how to review it
  • Board and investor reporting
  • Remote and hybrid operating rhythm
  • Internal communication that actually informs
What I take on - and what I don't

Full ownership. Clear boundaries.

When I take a project, I own it end to end: diagnosis, plan, delivery, until it works without me. When the project needs it, I'll build the first version myself - the dashboard, the process, the playbook.

What I don't take is hands-on work that sits outside a COO's scope - running processes day to day, administration, execution tasks that belong inside the team. There are better and cheaper people for those.

Who you'll be working with
